"I know Victor Serov since my first polar expedition to the arctic
archipelago Franz Josef Land in 1993. I not only learnt to know his
professionalism and his skills in polar adventures. Much more we started to
dream and plan some exciting expeditions together. In 1997 we managed to
lead the 1st Austrian ski-last-degree trip to the North Pole together with
Victor Boyarski. In 2009 Victor Serov and the TAC/ALCI team supported the
"1st Austrian Queen Maud Land expedition". As the initiator and leader of
the expedition I was happy to cooperate with the experienced crew of
TAC/ALCI. We successfully crossed the heart of Queen Maud Land along a new
route called "The Austrian Ski Route 2009" and climbed several peaks along
the route."

Expedition leader, Austrian Antarctic Expedition, November 2009
As most people, at the beginning stages of our Aloha-Antarctica expedition, I personally had only a vague idea how crucial, complex and extensive the logistical process and support is and has to be to accomplish anything successfully in Antarctica. What a relief to have met and worked together with the absolute best in this area: The Antarctic Company. I would like to thank Victor, Alexey, Anne, Raymond and the rest of the TAC team for their professional service, personable conduct, heartfelt dedication and genuine care which made our expedition a success - even though we had to finish earlier than anticipated. And that's where their expertise and logistical prowess really showed! Being in Antarctica, in many ways, is like being on another planet – and I was glad being able to count on the TAC team getting us there and back safe and sound. If you think about planning any adventure in Antarctica, The Antarctic Company is definitely the way to go!

I would like to thank the professional staff of TAC and ALCI especially Alexey, Victor and Anne for making our dream of reaching the pole. It was an amazing expedition and I am proud to pioneer a new route and with the help and logistically support of TAC/ALCI they can make your dreams come true as well.

A huge thanks you to all at TAC and ALCI for your help in achieving a long-term ambition in reaching the Geographic South Pole from the Filchner Ice Shelf . It was a truly incredible experience and the logistics support we received from TAC and ALCI was really appreciated.

Anywhere in Antarctica is remote but an expedition to the Pole of Inaccessibility (POI), the furthest point from the coast of Antarctica, is as remote as it gets. In deciding whether to accept the offer to guide an expedition to the POI, I was swayed by the fact that The Antarctica Company, and in particular Victor Serov, would handle all the logistics. Even though the company is new, Victor has extensive experience in Antarctica and on the Arctic Ocean, as a scientist, an expedition guide and organizing logistics for polar expeditions. Having worked with Victor at both ends of the planet, I can confidently write that he is totally reliable, pays close attention to all the details, offers sound advice and above all, is a really nice person to work with. I highly recommend his services and know from experience, that The Antarctic Company will flourish in Antarctica.

"Even when we were in a quite awkward situation during the expedition in the middle of Queen Maud Land without any working airplanes for thousands of miles due to a unfortunate landing, TAC made a marvellous work of getting things done – and keeping their timetable to the minute. And that is what counts in the end …
Without TAC?s long-time polar experience and understanding for complex expeditions, we would not have climbed five first ascents in one of the most beautiful and remote areas in the world."

"You go to Himalayas, you go to the North Pole, but this …
I think it's the most beautiful place I've ever seen on the whole Earth …
Surreal, unreal, as if you are on another planet, this can't be Earth … "
