TAC joined the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO)

TAC took its environmental commitment a step further and joined the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO). At the IAATO meeting in Providence, Rhode Island last month, our membership application was accepted and TAC is an associate member of IAATO (B1 membership) now. IAATO promotes and practices environmentally responsible and save travel to Antarctica and thus contributes to the protection and conservation of the Antarctic nature. IAATO also provides environmental guidelines for visitors to Antarctica and Antarctic tour operators and conducts research on effects and trends in Antarctic tourism. 

All our guides have spent a lot of time in Antarctica and it is very dear to our hearts. We want to share our passion for this wonderful continent with all our clients and show the importance to protect and preserve this unique environment.
