Dates and Costs for the Antarctic Season 2007/2008
Trip Cost Includes :
- Pre-flight briefing in Cape Town Antarctic Club one day prior to departure.
- Transfers to and from Cape Town International airport for the Antarctic flights.
- Round trip flight from Cape Town to Antarctica, including 30kg luggage allowance, onboard services, air flight insurance (135,000 USD coverage).
- All flights within Antarctica as in a program.
- Meals, accommodations at ALCI airbase and excursions to the Russian and Indian scientific bases.
- White gas for the expedition.
- Support of the expedition with everyday communication, weather forecast, staff Physician consultations in case of health problems and SAR throughout your journey.
- Celebration dinner at ALCI airbase upon return from the South Pole.
- Official ALCI/ TAC South Pole customized certificate.
Trip Cost Doesn't Include :
- Flights to and from home to Cape Town.
- Your meals and accommodation in Cape Town.
- Airport transfers other than those for Antarctic flights.
- Any Group or Personal camping or skiing equipment, clothing.
- Expedition food
- Insurance Coverage - personal, , evacuation or otherwise.
